Eagles begin with five games at home
WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University men’s lacrosse team announced its 2018 schedule on Wednesday. The Eagles, under first-year head coach Anthony Fitti, will play 14 games including eight at LaMoy Field. This year also marks the first season the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) will sponsor men’s lacrosse.
The Eagles open the season with their first five game at LaMoy Field beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 21 against American International at 2 p.m. Following the opener, Post rounds out the opening homestand against Mercy (Feb. 24), Molloy (March 3), Saint Rose (March 6), and Saint Anselm (March 10).
Post will begin a four game road trip on Tuesday, March 13 at Southern New Hampshire. The Eagles will head to Assumption (March 16), Saint Michael’s (March 20), and LIU Post (April 4) to close out their non-conference schedule.
The conference slate opens on April 8 at home against first-year program Wilmington. The Eagles visit Dominican on April 11 before returning home against Chestnut Hill on April 14. Post will play another first-year program in Felician on the road April 17 and close out the regular season at Georgian Court April 21.
The inaugural CACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship will take place at Georgian Court in Lakewood, N.J. and will feature the top-four teams in the final standings. The semifinals will be on Friday, April 27 and the championship game will be on Sunday, April 29.
