BOSTON, MA – Major League Lacrosse, the premiere professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced yesterday the players selected for the 2017 MLL All-Star Game. The game will be played on Saturday, July 8 at Papa Murphy’s Park in Sacramento, California. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. Four Cannons were selected to participate in the festivities.
Captain Will Manny will make his third straight All-Star appearance along with goaltender Tyler Fiorito. Faceoff-specialist Joe Nardella and defenseman Brandon Mullins will both be making their respective All-Star debuts. The Cannons will be well represented as the MLL heads to Northern California for the first time.
Manny currently leads the Cannons with 30 points and is fifth in the league in goals with 18. Fiorito leads the league in minutes played with 556:47 and has made 120 saves, which is the second most behind Austin Kaut of Florida.
