NEILA Week 12 Poll 2017

NEWTON, Mass. — Ivy League champions and NCAA tournament participant Yale University was voted as the unanimous top team in Division 1 in the 12th poll of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) for 2017.

The Bulldogs become the second team to be named New England champions this year, joining Merrimack College, who went wire to wire in Division 2.

In Division 3, NESCAC champions Wesleyan University were unanimously picked as the #1 team again this week, besting Bates College for the second week in a row. The Cardinals and Bobcats will square off in the NCAA quarterfinals, a game that will also determine the New England champion in Division 3.
