trimino Protein Infused Water Teams Up with Three Members of Major League Lacrosse

triminoTM is teaming up with Josh Hawkins, Davey Emala and James Fahey to represent the brand and to work with aspiring lacrosse players as part of the Cannons’ youth outreach programs.  “We are excited to be teamed up with Josh, Davey and James because they exhibit a great work ethic on and off the field, are outstanding role models for the next generation of lacrosse players and will be outstanding ambassadors for trimino,” says Bob Leary, co-founder of trimino. “These guys are great to work with and will project the upstanding, active and fun image that trimino is all about.”

Josh Hawkins, an All-Star midfielder on the Boston Cannons, also won an NCAA National Championship while a student-athlete at Loyola University. In 2015, Josh was traded to the Boston Cannons from the Charlotte Hounds. During the 2016 season, Josh scored 11 goals and had 51 ground balls.

Attackman Davey Emala grew up in Baltimore, MD and was a High School All-American Lacrosse player at the Gilman School. He continued his career at Georgetown University before transferring to University of North Carolina. In 2015, Davey led the Boston Cannons with 33 goals and was named the 2015 MLL Brine Most Improved Player.

Defenseman Jamey Fahey was a four-year player at UMass Amherst before joining the Boston Cannons for the 2016 season. Fahey – a big, strong defender, received the Boston Cannons Kyocera New England Document Solutions 11th Player of the Year Award.

With seven grams of whey protein, B vitamins, and essential amino acids, triminoTM is a growing force in the functional water space, a market that is constantly looking for innovation and products that deliver benefits beyond hydration. triminoTM was created by three fathers in Guilford, Conn., as they tried to come up with an alternative beverage for their athletic-minded kids. By pooling their resources, they were able to develop triminoTM as a sugar-free, low calorie protein infused water that offered a healthy alternative to sugary sports drinks and soft drinks.

All three players are thrilled to be associated with an exciting, fast-growing, innovative beverage company. According to Hawkins, “trimino is perfect for me because I don’t drink sports drinks anymore because of all the sugar.  With trimino you have zero sugar plus the added benefit of protein.  It’s great for everyday work or play.” Emala added, “trimino provides me the protein I need to score goals and it keeps me going after a long day of practice. Plus, it tastes great!” James Fahey added, “trimino gets me going in the morning and helps me throughout the day, doesn’t matter if I’m on the field or on my feet during the weekly grind.”

“We are looking forward to a great lacrosse season and in particular in our relationship with Josh, Davey and James”, says Bob Leary, co-founder of trimino.
