Brown Picked Second In Ivy League Preseason Men’s Lacrosse Poll

Providence, R.I. – The defending Ivy League Champion Brown men’s lacrosse team, fresh off an NCAA National Semifinal appearance, has been picked second in the Ivy League Men’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll.

The Bears and first-year head coach Mike Daly, received six first place votes with Yale being ranked first, also with six first place votes. Penn, who received one first place vote, was picked third, followed by Harvard, Cornell, Princeton and Dartmouth.

Brown returns three All-Americans from last year’s 16-3 team, including senior Tewaaraton Trophy winner Dylan Molloy, the USILA Player and Attackman of the Year, along with senior first team All-American LSM Larken Kemp, and senior second team All-American defenseman Alec Tulett.

Brown opens its 2017 on Sunday, February 19 at home against Quinnipiac at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
