Brown Lacrosse Ranked 10th/11th In National Preseason Polls

Providence, R.I. – Coming off a record-breaking season and an NCAA National Semifinal appearance, Brown’s men’s lacrosse has been recognized in the 2017 Preseason rankings, earning a 10th place vote in the Inside Lacrosse/Epoch National Poll, and being ranked 11th in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll.

The cupboard is hardly bare for first-year head coach Mike Daly, who took over the Brown lacrosse program in July.  The Bears return Tewaaraton Award winner Dylan Molloy ’17 (Setauket, NY), the USILA Player and Attackman of the Year, along with First Team All-American LSM Larken Kemp ‘17 (Greenwich, CT) and Second Team All-American defenseman Alec Tullet ’17 (Toronto, Ontario).

Daly, whose overall philosophy thrives on the fast-paced offense that the Bears have played for the last two years, will have to answer many questions with the graduation of six All-Americans, especially in goal, on attack and in the face-off x.

The Bears open their season on Sunday, February 19, hosting Quinnipiac at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
