Maverik Lacrosse Wonderboy Handle Review

Maverik Lacrosse has updated the Wonderboy handle for 2017.  It still features Maverik’s signature shape, it is made out of 9000 series alloy, has a matte finish and the ABE+.  The signature shape is Maverik’s take on the traditional octagon shape of lacrosse handles.  The sides of the octagon are a little longer, which makes the other sides of the octagon smaller.  The Maverik signature shape gives the Wonderboy it’s strength.  However it is 10% lighter than previous versions of the Wonderboy.  It features a matte finish which gives the Wonderboy it’s grip.  The Wonderboy also features the ABE+, which has a silicone liner for stability.

The Wonderboy features simple graphics and logos.  It says Wonderboy about ¾ up the handle on both sides, it has the Maverik logo about ¼ up from the bottom of the handle.  On the side of the handle it also features latitude and longitude coordinates.  When those coordinates are searched for it gives you the original Maverik offices, at 534 W 25th Street in New York City.  We thought that was pretty cool to toss something like that on the handle.

If you loved the original Maverik Lacrosse Wonderboy handle, then you are going to want to pick this one up.  They have made subtle tweaks to the Wonderboy, but it is still a very solid lacrosse handle.  We highly recommend this for all positions on the field.
