Providence, R.I. – Brown’s Ivy League Champion men’s lacrosse team will host the Ivy League Men’s Lacrosse Championship at Stevenson Field, with the semifinals on May 1 and the championship game on May 3.
Brown is the number one seed in the Ivy Tournament by virtue of its wins over both Cornell and Princeton, and finishing the regular with an overall record of 12-3, 4-2 in the Ivy League, sharing the Ivy title with the Tigers (4-2) and Big Red (4-2).
The winner of the Ivy League Tournament will receive the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
In the first semifinal matchup on Friday, May 1 at Stevenson Field, #2 seed Cornell will play #3 seed Princeton at 5pm. #1 seed Brown will host #4 seed Yale (9-4, 3-3 Ivy) on Friday, May 1 at 8pm. Both games will be televised on ESPN3. The Ivy Championship game will be held on Sunday, May 3 at Stevenson Field, starting at 12 noon on ESPNU.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 28 at 10:00 AM. An all-session pass is available for adults at $20 and children/seniors at $10. Tickets for Friday’s semifinals are $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors, and Sunday’s Championship game is priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children/seniors.
Brown, Cornell, Princeton & Yale students will receive free entry with a valid ID at the gate.
