NEILA Poll Week 8

NEWTON, Mass. – Yale University used a victory over Brown to reclaim the top spot in this week’s New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) poll, while Tufts University stayed atop Division 3’s rankings despite their first loss of the season.

The Bulldogs jumped over Brown and received four first place votes after their 16-10 home victory over the Bears, who received the final first place nod in Division 1.

In Division 2, Merrimack continued their reign as unanimous #1 ranking, while in Division 3 Tufts received five of six first place votes after falling at home 12-8 to Bates, who earned a first place vote themselves and moved up from eighth to the third spot.
