NEILA Poll Week 7

NEWTON, Mass. – The top three teams in each division remained the same on Monday afternoon as the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) announces their Week #7 poll. Brown University remains at the top of Division 1, while Merrimack College still headlines Division 2 and Tufts University tops Division 3

The Bears received two of the six available first place votes but were able to hold off Yale, who received three first place selections, and Harvard, who earned the remaining one. Merrimack and Tufts continued to be unblemished at the top of their divisions, as the Division 2 votes did not change from last week, save a tie now for the #4 spot between Bentley and Assumption.

The only change in the ten teams in Division 3 saw Bates move into the top ten, sliding Babson out of the poll this week.

The NEILA polls are voted on by a committee of coaches within each dvision.
