Team goals heading into 2015 season?

As a team, we are focused on continuing to change the culture of our program at Green Mountain College. Each member of our team is looking forward to the chance to compete within the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) this season and attempt to make the conference playoffs for the first time since we joined the NAC and the ranks of NCAA Division III lacrosse.

Who are you expecting big things out of in 2015?

The Eagles will be looking to Nick Parsons and Bret Baldwin for contributions this spring. Parsons is a junior midfielder who finished 2014 with 12 goals and 7 assists. He was also an Second Team All NAC selection last spring. While Baldwin is a junior defenseman who transferred to Green Mountain this year.

Game on the schedule that your team is looking forward to the most?

Green Mountain is looking forward to their first game of 2015 against Daniel Webster on March 11th.

Favorite to win the North Atlantic Conference this spring?

Castleton State College is the favorite to win the conference this season. They return Peter Latulippe, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in the cage and Zach Davidson, the Player of the Year in the conference the past two seasons along with a solid core and coaching staff around these players.

Players to watch in the North Atlantic Conference this spring?

This is a tough question. You have the obvious selections just named above and a really talented group of players at New England College, but, a player that is under the radar who is a tremendous all-around midfielder is Nicholas Betti at Maine Maritime. He is a goal scoring threat every time he touches the ball and is very good on both sides of the field, something that is essential as our game continues to morph back into fast-paced, two-way midfield play.
