NEILA Poll Week 2

Bulldogs Move to #1 in D1, Merrimack and Tufts Still Unanimous

NEWTON, Mass. – The Yale University Bulldogs took over the top spot in the first New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) poll since the preseason rankings came out. Yale earned three first place votes to move ahead of the Harvard Crimson, who were the preseason favorites.

Preseason frontrunners Merrimack College and Tufts University each held on to their unanimous top spots in Divisions 2 and 3, respectively.

The complete polls for Divisions 1, 2, and 3 are in the attached document and may be released immediately.

NEILA polls are voted on by a committee of coaches from their respective divisions.
