Fairfield University Women’s Lacrosse Picked Third in Preseason Poll

EDISON, N.J. — The Fairfield University women’s lacrosse team was picked to finish third in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Preseason Poll with 60 points. The Stags had senior Meghan Reda (Pleasantville, N.Y.) and junior Chelsey Sidaras (Mastic Beach, N.Y.) voted to the Preseason All-MAAC Team.

The Stags followed league preseason favorite Canisius, which earned 79 points, and second place Marist (72). Fairfield had a one-point advantage over Monmouth (59), who was tabbed fourth. Quinnipiac earned 39 points to be chosen fifth and was followed by Niagara (34), Siena (32), Iona (16), and Manhattan (14).
