Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts – September 11, 2014 – Joining the Eagles for his first year as Head coach, Peter Sessa brings a vast coaching experience at the collegiate level as well as having international experience.
“I am extremely excited to become a part the Boston College Community and I would like to thank Emily Charnowski and everyone in the athletic department for the opportunity,” said Sessa. “I look forward to joining such a prestigious academic institution and having the chance to work with the outstanding student-athletes who are a part of the program. Boston College athletics has a deep history of lacrosse and I look forward to building upon that outstanding foundation.”
A 2010 graduate from Springfield College, Sessa’s hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. He was awarded First Team All-Pilgrim and All-Academic twice as well as two-time Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.
